Pride Health is hiring a OR Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility based in New York, NY. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration: 3+ months

Schedule: Nights 3x12’s shifts / 7 AM - 7 PM – Every other weekend

Pay Range for locals: $56 - $60 per hour

Pay Range for travelers: $2000.00 - $2300.00 per week

Required & Preferred: 2 years RN experience & Epic

Education: ASN, BSN

Certifications & Licenses: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS - AHA,

Preferred Certifications & Licensure: ACLS-AHA, PALS

Responsibilities:

1. Taking care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
2. This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
3. Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
